After studying architecture and graphic design, Christian started his advertising career at Ogilvy. Spending time at Ogilvy’s offices in Hong Kong and Cape Town helped to shape his sense for creative standards across national and cultural borders. Following were creative roles at Jung von Matt, again Ogilvy, CCO at BBDO and Geometry Global, before Christian came on board at TBWA in 2016.

The major brands he has led include IBM, Siemens, German Railway, Lufthansa, Allianz, Amex, IKEA, Vodafone and various banks, some of which even still exist. 

The passionate jazz pianist would happily swap his 27 Cannes Lions for a double bass – if his 10-year-old son Anton were to play it.
